Bellingham 3.0

Kearsarge Bellingham (Bellingham, MA)

About the Project:

Completed in 2021, Kearsarge won the rights to develop, finance, construct, own and operate this project through an RFP released by the Town of Bellingham. Located on approximately 15 acres of underutilized land owned by the Town, this project provides over 6.6 million kWh of renewable electricity annually; 100% of the output is sold to Massachusetts municipalities.   The BESS operates daily in ISO-NE ancillary markets. Kearsarge works closely with on-site O&M partners, the Town, and the MA Natural Heritage and Endangered Species program to protect endangered turtles on site.
