Kearsarge Hubbardston (Hubbardston, MA)

Kearsarge partnered with an experienced local developer to finance, construct, own and operate this 2.5 MW DC green field ground-mounted solar farm in central Massachusetts.  The Project is located on privately-owned former agricultural land and all energy generated by the Project is being purchased by the University of Massachusetts Lowell.  The University will earn millions of dollars of energy cost savings over the life of the Project.  Also, as part of Kearsarge's collaboration with UMass, the Project may host educational field studies and may be integrated into applied coursework in engineering, the sciences, and public policy.  Commercial Operations began December 2013.
