Mount Saint Mary's Solar II (Franklin, MA)

Kearsarge’s second project in Franklin, MA, is a 4.8 MW DC ground-mounted system also located on land owned by the Sisters of Mount Saint Mary’s Abbey.  The Sisters have shown tremendous support and interest in building a sustainable future for their institution and a commitment to renewable energy, all while creating a long-term partnership that will benefit not only their mission but also the Town of Franklin, as the Town will benefit from two decades of discounted electricity and taxes.  Commercial Operations began December 2013.
