Kearsarge Barre I (Barre, MA)

Located on a former ski hill in central Massachusetts, this 2.4 MW DC ground-mounted Project represents a creative and sustainable land reuse development strategy and an important public-private partnership.  The Project revitalized a vacant parcel and will sell all net metering credits generated by the facility to a local municipality, providing significant energy cost savings to the city.  Kearsarge developed the project in conjunction with a local partner, arranged financing with multiple national financial institutions, and will own and operate the Project long term.  Commercial Operations began May 2014.
